Since my childhood, I found world exploration attractive. Enthusiastically I read globes, drew maps, learnt words, coloured national flags, discussed the histories of those nations, etc. Unsurprisingly I got attracted to the Parker Sonnet Special Edition Atlas launched last year, of which barrel is illustrated exquisitely and quite accurately with the world map. It must be one of the pen I want for a a long time.
With a distinguished deep blue lacquer barrel, reminiscent of the blue oceans in our globe, the look is completed with delicate brass map lines. Finished with a sterling silver cap, laser engraved with a pattern inspired by the view of the Earth from the Poles, this pen has a truly premium feel. The rhodium-plated 18 karat solid gold (Au 750) nib will adapt to our unique writing style, whilst the gently contoured brushed steel grip section and balanced feel ensure a genuinely enjoyable writing experience.

The Parker Pen Company used to be an American pen manufacturer founded in 1888 by George Safford Parker in Janesville, Wisconsin, United States. After the decline in pen industry in the US, the production was transferred to the UK. But in 2011 the Parker headquarter and production was transferred to Nantes, France.
